Meet Axel — Waytobill’s New Founding Sales Executive

Waytobill is growing! We’re excited to welcome Axel Carlborg to the team as our new Founding Sales Executive. With extensive experience from Brite and Kivra, Axel brings a strong commercial background in payments, digital services, and strategic partnerships. He joins Waytobill to help accelerate our growth and strengthen our position as the leading platform for seamless recurring payments.

Driving Sales and Strategic Partnerships

Throughout his career, Axel has worked at the intersection of technology, payments, and business development. Most recently at Brite, he helped drive commercial growth across the Nordics and Baltics, working closely with merchants and partners to deliver innovative payment solutions. Prior to that, he spent several years at Kivra, where he combined business development with technical integration projects and customer success.

At Waytobill, Axel's primary focus will be on driving sales and expanding our customer base, while also building and strengthening strategic partnerships that support our long-term growth. His experience in developing commercial relationships and creating value for customers will play an important role as Waytobill continues to scale.

Having worked across sales, business development, commercial strategy, and project management, he understands both the business and technical aspects of delivering modern payment experiences.

His collaborative approach and passion for creating value for customers make him a great addition to the Waytobill team as we continue to scale.

Outside the Office

Outside of work, Axel enjoys spending time with family and friends and staying active through regular training and exercise. He also has a genuine interest in innovation and technology. His curiosity, positive energy, and relationship-driven approach make him a great fit for Waytobill's culture.
