What is your position at Waytobill and how did you get into development?
I've joined Waytobill as a new member of the front-end development team. I've always had a curiosity for technology but it first started with an interest in creating video games. However, after giving a go to web development I realised it was a lot more mentally rewarding. The COVID-19 lockdown was when I took my first steps in my front-end career.
What did you do before joining Waytobill?
Before joining Waytobill I worked on a great variety of different projects, mainly out of curiosity and desire to learn as much as possible in the shortest time. Before becoming a professional developer I tried 12 other professions! I worked as a waiter, coordinator, team leader, human resources specialist, and stand-up comedian among others.
Why did you choose to join Waytobill?
Working with a small group of people gives you the opportunity to talk more about the solutions. It also gives you this sense of responsibility and desire to do things better, all the time. Being part of an international team helps your growth in the personal spectre too. There is so much to learn from other people in our team!
Where could we find you outside of work?
If you don’t find me at a local CrossFit gym, you will probably catch me in the mountains on an enduro bike. But if I have more time, a road trip would be my number one choice.
