Eric joined Waytobill in the earliest days of the company, before the company even had a name, and has been instrumental in shaping what we’ve built since. As a developer, Eric architects and builds our frontend, designs scalable solutions, and keeps future flexibility in mind with every line of code. He also jumps in on backend services, automations, and all kinds of other technical challenges — “whatever we need, really,” as he puts it. And yes, he leads the frontend team.
What makes Waytobill different for Eric is the trust and freedom we give each other as a team. “Here we don’t need to keep an eye on anyone because we know everyone is doing their best. That makes me more productive. And more free.”
Having started out as a backend developer, Eric found his way into frontend work early on and never looked back. With a decade of experience across industries, he describes himself as a “jack of all trades,” always learning, always curious. He’s proud to have helped build something from scratch and see it grow into a product used by people he’s never met — “that’s an amazing feeling.”
Outside of work, Eric enjoys life in Barcelona with his girlfriend and their cats. You’ll find him listening to music (but not playing it) or gaming, and always with a cup of coffee close by.
